Hand-Carved Cup Set
A set of cups, thrown on the wheel and then carved by hand once the clay has firmed, lines and facets cut into the body so that each cup has its own texture under the fingers and its own play of light and shadow on the shelf.
The handle is pulled by hand and attached to sit comfortably in the grip, with room for a finger or two and enough strength for daily use. The interior is glazed smooth for drinking; the outside keeps the carved surface as the feature.
Made for morning coffee, afternoon tea, or a table set for guests. Because each cup is carved freehand, the set is a family rather than a matched set the same form and glaze, with small differences that make each one recognisably yours.
