Who dosen't love a fluffy meringue!!
- 4 Egg Whites
- 1 Cup Castor Sugar
- 1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- Pinch of Salt
- Oven Preheat - 110 degrees
- Line baking tray with paper
In your bowl, add egg whites + pinch of salt. On high speed using an electric mixer, combine egg whites + salt until soft peaks form. Slowly and gradually add sugar, whisking well between each addition.
Once all sugar has been added, whisk on high for 1 minute and add vanilla extract.
When mixture forms firm peaks, spoon out onto baking tray lined with paper to your desired size. You can also use a piping bag if you are wanting a more structured form or add onto baking tray in one larger piece to make pavlova.
Bake for 90mins or until tops have formed hard skin.
We suggest topping with plenty of cream + fresh berries however absolutely don’t let us limit your imagination. Of course serve on your favourite Bridget Bodenham Cake Stand and enjoy !!
